Wembley Stadium is the largest stadium in the UK and second largest in Europe. It's been the home of the English national football team since it opened in 1927. It went through a major reconstruction starting in 2005 and completed in 2007.
The stadium is also temporarily housing Tottenham Hotspur while their stadium at White Hart Lane is being reconstructed.
Wembley plays host to a wide range major sports and events, in addition to England internationals, it also hosts the FA and League Cup finals, the Rugby League Challenge Cup final and has for the past few years held NFL games.
Aside from sporting events, the stadium can also host music concerts and has hosted major acts such as Metallica, The Killers, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Madonna, Coldplay, Oasis, Take That and AC/DC. Their record concert attendance stands at 98,000 when Adele played live there in June 2017.
