Home of Manchester United.
Last updated: Aug 15, 2018
Old Trafford is a football stadium in Greater Manchester and the home of Manchester United. With a capacity of almost 75,000 it is the UK's largest club football stadium and second to only Wembley as the largest soccer ground in the UK. Old Trafford hosts Man Uniteds English Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup fixtures. The stadium is one of the most difficult in the UK to get tickets to with the waiting list of Man U season tickets being very long.
While its primary function is football, the stadium has played host to a variety of major sporting events such as the 2003 Champions League final and the 2000 Rugby League World Cup final. It has also hosted two England Rugby internationals making them one of only four stadiums in the UK to have done so. Due to its size, Old Trafford has proved a popular venue for major concerts with Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Rod Stewart all playing sold out gigs at there.
